The life of a test · 05 Release

Signed, locked and checkable.

Release is held, not clicked. Results lock, each certificate carries a check code, and a later change becomes version 2.

Release

Held, not clicked.

A plate is released by a person who did not analyse it, and nothing about it changes afterwards.

Releasing a plate, held to confirm
Release, with what it locks.
  • Results locked at release
  • Reports in the lab's layout and wording
  • One report per test, or the plate as one file

Certificates and amendments

Checkable, and a change is version 2.

Each certificate carries a code anyone can check, and an amendment waits for a second person, who issues it as a new version while the first stays on the record.
