The life of a test · 02 Run
Every run, checked as it arrives.
Sanger and PCR plates come in with their sample sheets or instrument exports, the originals kept byte for byte, and each problem named before anyone spends time on it.
Sanger plates
A plate in, every trace kept.
The sample sheet and its traces are matched well by well, and every original is kept exactly as it came off the sequencer.

- Orders, sample details and controls from the sheet
- Every AB1 or SCF file kept byte for byte
- 96 and 384 well plates
Plate quality
Controls judged before the calls.
Read and plate quality checked first, controls compared with what they should show, and a failed well sent to the repeat list with its reason.

- Each control judged against its stored trace
- A limit on failed wells per plate
- The repeat list becomes the next plate's sheet
PCR plates
Instrument exports kept with the plate.
Real-time and digital PCR plates retain the original export, exact import method and every well assignment used by the analysis.
- RDML and supported instrument exports kept byte for byte
- Controls checked before quantities or decisions
- Malformed or incomplete wells refused with a reason
